I am getting weather from Gaithersburg, MD, not my local station.

WeatherBug's "home" is Gaithersburg, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C., and it is set by default to access weather data from Gaithersburg.  Sometimes you may initially receive weather data from our home location, however, this should be only temporary. It is usually a minor server issue or that an invalid ZIP code was entering when registering your WeatherBug.  If it does not change to the correct location after a few seconds, please follow the steps to change locations.

 While online, click the CHANGE LOCATION link at the top of the main screen.  Ensure that your ZIP code is entered correctly choose a station from the map or the dropdown list, and then click Set Location at the bottom of the screen. This will save the location and you should begin accessing weather data for the area of your choice within a few seconds.
