I bought WeatherBug Plus but can't get it to activate.

Activation codes may occasionally not be accepted for any of the following reasons:

1. Firewall software. There are many different types of firewall software and hardware.  Programs like Norton Personal Firewall, Black Ice, Symantec and others do have the ability to be temporarily disabled.  We are not suggesting that you leave your firewall down just for WeatherBug, but if you can disable it temporarily, just during the WeatherBug Plus activation process, and then re-enable your firewall for normal operation, this could solve the problem.  We have noticed this is the most common reason for activation codes not being accepted.

2. Code errors. The activation code must be entered exactly as you see it. All letters MUST be capitalized.  This includes any extra spaces before, after or between the letters numbers and dashes. You MUST include all the dashes. If copying and pasting- make sure there are no extra spaces after the code.

3. Internet Connection.  You must be connected to the internet to activate the WeatherBug.

4. Not enough system memory.  The WeatherBug needs 8mb of free memory to run.

5. WeatherBug Plus subscriptions are valid for 1 year from their start date.  If after entering your activation code it still does not activate, make sure that it has not been more than 1 year since you first subscribed to WeatherBug Plus.
