A hailstorm produced quarter-sized hailstones in Leland, N.C., today.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning as a storm brought hail, rain, and strong winds to southern parts of North Carolina on Friday, May 7.
The NWS warned of quarter-sized hail and winds of up to 60 mph.
Video shared by Nathan Katogir showed the hail and strong winds in Leland.
