The Truckee and Tahoe areas in California were bombarded by heavy snow on February 15.
Several snowstorms roared ashore into California this past week allowing for several inches, even feet, of snow to pile up quickly in the higher elevation passes.
Seen here is heavy snow causing whiteout conditions in the Truckee area along State Route 267 in California.
