A waterspout moved onto land close to the NASA assembly facility in Michoud, in Eastern New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 18, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
The waterspout came ashore at the Bayou Bienvenue Lock and moved toward the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility, according to the NWS.
This footage, shot by an employee on the grounds of the NASA facility, shows the waterspout towering close by.
