Total snow accumulations between 12 and 20 inches. Ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. Winds could gust as high as 40-50 mph. Visibilities may be reduced to one-half mile or less at times. * WHERE...Northern Bristol Bay Coast, Inland Bristol Bay, and Kuskokwim Valley East (along the Kuskokwim River from Oskawalik to Stony River). * WHEN...Until midnight AKST tonight. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Ice accumulation could lead to power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The main threat through this afternoon will be heavy snow (with rates of one inch per hour or greater), with the threat of blowing snow for northern Bristol Bay coast and interior Bristol Bay. From this afternoon through the night, the main threat will be freezing rain. There will likely be a period of freezing rain for Bristol Bay before temperatures warm and precipitation changes over to plain rain. For Kuskokwim Valley East, warmer air and freezing rain will likely arrive in the late evening and may last through tomorrow morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
