A light rain/snow mix is possible across the mountains of far north Georgia tonight into the predawn hours of Saturday morning. At elevations above 2000ft, a transition to light snow showers is possible. Accumulations are expected to be minor, ranging from a trace to a half inch. Significant or widespread hazardous travel is not anticipated. However, spotty areas of black ice are possible, mainly on less-traveled secondary roads. Exercise caution if traveling in these areas, especially on elevated roadways and bridges.
