A quick moving storm system will move across southern portions of central Indiana late tonight...after 4 am...before moving out of the area by mid-late morning Friday. A quick 0.5 to 1 inch of snowfall accumulation is expected with higher amounts in northern areas. Another round of precipitation is expected develop during the mid-late afternoon hours. Initially the precipitation will be in the form of rain or a rain/snow mix with temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s. A transition to snow is expected to occur by early evening, with some potential impact to the Friday evening commute. If traveling, be alert for rapidly changing conditions in short distances. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
