A cold front is crossing the area this morning and behind the frontal passage expect rapidly falling temperatures which will cause wet roads to freeze, resulting in icy surfaces and slippery roads. Use extra caution over the next couple hours Downeast where temperatures are falling fast. All areas will be below freezing by 8AM EST. Expect slippery travel conditions along the Route 9 Airline and Route 1 corridors.
