Emmet-Cheboygan-Leelanau-Antrim-Otsego-Benzie-Grand Traverse- Kalkaska-Crawford-Manistee-Wexford-Charlevoix- 245 AM EST Fri Dec 19 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible, mainly west of I-75. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph leading to blowing snow with low visibility. * WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Rapidly falling temperatures later tonight will lead to icy road conditions. Gusty winds combined with falling snow will result in very poor visibilities at times tonight into Friday. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and cause isolated power outages. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly.
