Additional snow accumulations up to one inch, but locally higher in very narrow snow bands. Winds gusting as high as 40 to 60 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, and central, east central, south central, and southeast South Dakota. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Falling and blowing snow will lead to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds and snow showers will result in visibilities as low as one half mile at times.
