Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. * WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut and east central New York. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses will quickly become slick and hazardous. Travel could become difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Moderate to heavy snow will develop early this evening and will continue overnight, gradually decreasing in intensity after midnight.
