Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Mason, Muskegon, and Oceana Counties. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM EST Sunday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Sunday afternoon through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slippery road conditions are expected tonight as temperatures around 20 degrees combine with snow showers. There will be a bit of a lull in the snow shower activity on Sunday, but snow showers will once again ramp up in the afternoon and evening. The combination of heavy lake effect snow and strong winds gusting over 30 mph will create whiteout conditions at times, especially Monday morning.
