Total snow accumulations up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 80 mph. * WHERE...Northern Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt, McCone, Richland, and Dawson counties. * WHEN...Until 6 AM MST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
