Total snow accumulations between 2 and 9 inches. * WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, eastern New York, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of snow will bring light to locally moderate snowfall accumulations to all of eastern New York and western New England tonight into tomorrow night. However, the terrain within the Advisory area will enhance snowfall, thereby increasing the potential for more widespread moderate and possibly locally heavy accumulations, especially across the Southern Greens in Southern Vermont. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
