A strong arctic cold front will continue moving across eastern Illinois and then into northwest Indiana early this morning. Heavy snow showers will accompany this front reducing visibility under one half mile and producing a quick half inch to locally one inch of additional snow accumulation. Westerly winds will gust as high as 40 mph producing blowing and drifting snow. Scattered snow showers and shallow drifting snow will persist overnight.
