Total snow accumulations between 12 and 24 inches. Rain and freezing rain at times from Talkeetna south. * WHERE...Central Susitna Valley, Northern Susitna Valley, and Western Susitna Valley. * WHEN...From 3 AM Thursday to 9 PM AKST Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A warm and wet storm will begin to spread light snow into the Susitna Valley Thursday morning. Temperatures at the surface and aloft will warm starting Thursday evening. Rain may mix in at times along the Parks highway from Talkeetna south. Rain falling on snow covered and frozen roadways may create hazardous travel conditions. The snow will be heavy and wet. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
