Pollen Forecast for South Jacksonville, Florida

Based on past pollen counts and expected weather conditions, pollen levels for Friday will be falling into the extremely low range. This lowering of pollen concentrations is a result of falling temperatures, rising humidity, and heavy rains in the morning and evening which tend to wash pollen out of the air.

Concentration of pollen grains in the air for Saturday will be on the increase but will still remain in the low range. Since the weather has a major influence on pollen dispersal, this increase is due in part to higher temperatures and the lower dewpoint. The increase of this magnitude could make it more difficult for those with allergies.
