Discussion

Pollen concentrations for Sunday will be higher than they were today in the high range. This forecast of higher pollen concentration is based on higher temperatures and the lower dewpoint. If you do suffer from allergies tomorrow could be more difficult.

Allergy Facts

Certain pollen grains look virtually the same under the microscope, even though they were produced by a variety of plants which are very different in appearance. For instance, pollen from members of the Chenopodiaceae and Amaranthaceae families are so similar that they are listed collectively as "chenopods". Goosefoot, russian thistle, and celosia are just three members of these families that look very different from each other. Pollen from these plants, however, would likely be listed simply as "chenopods."
