Discussion

The amount of pollen in the air for Friday will be falling in the low range. This change results in part from falling temperatures, rising humidity, and expected precipitation in the morning, afternoon and evening which tends to wash pollen out of the air. With this amount of reduction in pollen levels, tomorrow should be better for allergy sufferers.

Allergy Facts

Cattail, a relative of grasses, typically grows in wet, marshy areas. These plants can shed tremendous amounts of pollen during the summer but are not a significant cause of hayfever.
