This lower level is caused by rising humidity, weak winds and expected precipitation in the morning and evening which tends to wash pollen out of the air. The lower pollen levels are significant and should help allergy sufferers to cope tomorrow.

A U.S. study surveyed the parents of 520 newborn babies, asking them whether their child had food allergies. Just under 30% said they believed their children to have such allergies. Contrary to their belief, only 6% of these children reacted to the suspected foods during a double-blind, placebo-controlled oral food challenge.
