The amount of pollen in the air for Saturday will be falling into the extremely low range. This relief in pollen levels is caused in part by falling temperatures, rising humidity and heavy rains in the morning and evening which tend to wash pollen out of the air.

Grasses are very resistant to both grazing and fire. When destroyed at the tips, grasses can elongate again from the portion of the plant remaining at ground level. This explains why suburban lawn mower jockeys cannot destroy these allergy-causing plants, despite their most disciplined efforts.
