Play ball! The 2022 MLB World Series is finally underway, with Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies sliding into Game 3 later this week as they both travel to Philadelphia.

From the American League, the No. 1 seeded Houston Astros will face off against the National League’s sixth seeded Philadelphia Phillies. The third and fourth games are scheduled to take place in Philadelphia’s Citizen’s Bank Park. If a fifth game is needed it will take place in Philadelphia, with a sixth and seventh game in Houston, as needed.

Both teams will be travelling today before games 3, 4 and 5 take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Philadelphia. Weather on Monday may have an impact on the game, as a low-pressure system pushes through the Mid-Atlantic bringing showers to Philadelphia throughout the day Monday into Tuesday morning. After those rounds of rain, weather should remain dry in Philadelphia through Game 5. Temperatures for the series will be colder than in Texas, with temperatures ranging from the mid-to-lower 60s into the mid-to-upper 50s by the end of each game.

If Games 6 and 7 are needed, the teams will return to Houston a week from now for Game 6 on Friday, November 5th, and Game 7 on Saturday, November 6th. These two games are expected to have dry weather, with temperatures in the lower-70s at the start of the game and into the mid-to-upper 60s by the close.

Good luck to both teams in the 2022 MLB World Series!
