After highs soared into the 80s across the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, a powerful cold front sent more than just the temperatures flying downward.

An enormous dust cloud, typically referred to as a haboob, evolved along the leading edge of the cold front as it dove southward across western Oklahoma and northwestern Texas.
