- 11:45 a.m.: As of mid-morning, about 200,000 customers are without power in southeast Texas. Most of the outages are in Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, Texas.
- 10 a.m.: Hurricane Warnings have been discontinued and replcaed with Tropical Storm Warnings.
- 8:58 a.m.: U.S. Coast Guard releases statement saying the Coast Guard is responding to vessels in distress near the Lydia Ann Channel near Port Aransas, Texas.
- 8:24 a.m.: 137 flights canceled and 75 flights delayed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
- 8:12 a.m.: No deaths have been confirmed from Harvey yet. Several people were treated following a senior housing complex roof collapse in Rockport, Texas.
- 7 a.m.: Ground stop has been initiated at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
- 6:50 a.m.: More than 62,000 people reported without power in greater Houston.
- 5:05 a.m.: More than 200,000 people reported without power within the AEP south Texas service area.
- 5 a.m.: Harvey downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane.
- 1:45 a.m.: Tornado Watch in effect for Houston, College Station, Galveston and Victoria until 1 p.m. CDT.
- 12:23 a.m.: 155,000 people without power within the AEP south Texas service area, including Corpus Christi.
- 12:07 a.m. CDT: Rockport, Texas has seen calm conditions with the Eye of Harvey for more than an hour. Back side of Hurricane arriving soon.
