Snowfall Forecast Through Monday
Snow showers will continue to fall across parts of the northeastern U.S. today as breezy conditions persist.

An upper-level weather system will continue northeasteastward away from New England and into Atlantic Canada today. While the bulk of the widespread snow has passed, some lingering moisture and lake-effect will continue to produce snow in the higher elevations of northern New England and northern New York this evening. The lake-effect snow will fall across central and western New York as well as northwestern Pennsylvania.

When all is said and done, the highest elevations of the Adirondacks and White and Green mountains, as well as much of the northern half of Maine, will likely pick up 4 to 9 inches. The more persistent lake-effect bands will produce similar snow amounts.

Winter Weather Advisories are located across central New York.
