Snow Continues In The Rockies, Central Plains
November 24, 2023 at 03:49 PM EST
By WeatherBug Meteorologist, Rob Miller

A large and slow-moving storm system will continue to produce snow in the Rockies even as it spreads into the Plains by Saturday.
Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories stretch from Utah to northwestern Missouri. In the warning area, 4 to 8 inches of snow is expected through Saturday morning, while 2 to 4 inches may be common across the Texas Panhandle, much of Kansas and Missouri.
This snow will likely make travel across Kansas quite difficult, with Interstates 35 and 70 likely to be snow-covered.
As the storm makes its way into the East, it will lose access to the colder air, meaning largely rain across the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic. A developing low pressure system will become intertwined with the storm system, leading to heavy rain and gusty winds along the New England coast.
