Boating is a popular recreational activity throughout the U.S., and brings in more than 30 billion dollars to the U.S. economy on a yearly basis.

Below are a few great spots to go enjoy the shining seas that our nation has to offer.
  • Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Major yachting center, popular cruise port and home to the world`s largest in-water boat show
  • Chicago -- Thanks to immediate access to Lake Michigan, Chicago hosts the largest municipal harbor in the U.S.
  • Finger Lakes, N.Y. -- Multiple lakes and serene surroundings make this a great place to get away from the hectic pace of life.
  • Hilton Head, S.C. -- Boasts beautiful beaches and legendary resorts all in a warm and environmentally friendly setting.
  • Knoxville, Tenn. --- A great setting on the Tennessee River, featuring well-known water taxi services, easy harbor access, plus quick access to camping in the Smoky Mountains.
