It’s that time of the year again with the NFL returning to the gridiron. The 2023-2024 season is underway, with the first week concluding on Monday. Will there be any intercepting weather to spoil any tailgating parties this week?
Week 1 of the 2023-2024 NFL season will conclude with another team based in East Rutherford, N.J., taking on their divisional rivals from Buffalo, N.Y. The weather will likely be more friendly by kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET, as a front departs off the coast. However, a spotty shower or two cannot be ruled out during the game, so it will be best to tackle any weather preparations before heading to the MetLife Stadium.
The good news? No tropical trouble will sack any of the games this weekend! Temperatures will likely be either seasonal or just above average, with 70s and 80s mostly on the scoreboard. However, a few areas in the Southeast and Southwest may see 90s appear.
As the season rolls on, the tropics will continue to brew. Be sure to check your local weather forecast via the WeatherBug website and download the WeatherBug app to remain prepared for any shifts this season.
