ntense rainfall brought flooding to Byron Bay in New South Wales, footage taken on March 30 shows.
Video filmed by Instagram user @marcsbaywatch shows locals wading through deep floodwaters along Byron Street on Wednesday morning.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, parts of north east New South Wales were set to receive up to 100 mm of rain on Wednesday.
Nearby in Lismore, the city’s flood levee overflowed for the second time in one month amid renewed evacuation orders.
