Video: Cyclone Mocha Lashes Myanmar's Coast

Heavy rain and strong winds bend trees and send small debris through the air.
At least six people were killed when Cyclone Mocha made landfall in Myanmar on Sunday, May 14, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported.

The cyclone made landfall in Sittwe at around 1:30 pm local time, Myanmar Now reported.

Several villages in Rakhine state were destroyed by Mocha, Myanmar Now reported. Wind speeds reached over 130 mph.

This footage was published by Partners Relief & Development, and shows the impact of the cyclone on Sittwe.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said six million people in the storm-hit area were already reliant on humanitarian aid.
