Video: Fields Left Submerged After Heavy Rain in Illinois

Areas across Illinois were left under water on Friday, May 15, after four to six inches of rainfall was reported across the state.
This video shows a flooded field, belonging to farmer Sandy Deutsch, in Maple Park, in DeKalb County.
Local media reported that the flooding forced the closure of a number of roadways in DeKalb County.
Widespread flooding was reported across the state, and the National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings for portions of the state through May 15.
Storms and heavy rain are expected to continue throughout the weekend.
