Several storm systems rushing ashore in California allowed for several inches of rain to pile up in Palm Springs on Thursday, February 14, 2019.
Several roadways were closed as water rushed across the streets. The Palm Springs Police Department warned that normal commutes could "turn into a rescue," at any moment.
