Video: Hail Batters Denver as Severe-Warned Storms Move Over Central Colorado

Destructive storms moved over Denver, Colorado, on Thursday evening, June 29, bringing widespread flooding and hail to the region.
Video recorded by Patricia Billinger shows her northwest Denver backyard covered in hailstones and floodwaters.
“The hail was inches deep and we had a river running through our backyard! Hail so thick that it still blankets our grass,” Billinger said in her Tweet.
The National Weather Service said strong storms were moving over the region with hail up to one-inch in diameter expected.
