Residents of Alberta, Canada, reported seeing a flash of light streak across the sky on the morning on Monday, February 22, with many capturing it on their home surveillance cameras.
Chris Herd, a meteorite expert and professor at the University of Alberta, said the flash was a meteor, and urged people to report their sightings to the American Meteor Society.
Melanie Babineau, a resident of Cochrane, said this view of the possible meteor was captured on her Nest camera at 6.23 am on Monday.
