Video: Northern Lights Captured on Weather Cam Near Anchorage

The northern lights, or aurora borealis, were visible over parts of southeast Alaska in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 22, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Anchorage.
Timelapse footage captured by an FAA-operated weather camera facing west at Wasilla Airport, about 30 miles north of Anchorage, shows waves of green light in the night sky.
