A brush fire burning off US 285 in Jefferson County, Colorado, was 100 percent contained on Wednesday, March 22, after destroying one building and prompting multiple evacuation orders.
The Turkey Creek Fire was contained after 6 pm local time, reported 9 News in Denver. Multiple school bus routes were impacted and eight homes were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
