The Met Office issued a yellow snow and ice warning for large parts of northern England and Scotland on February 24 after several inches of snow fell.
Roads and schools were closed across Cumbria, North Yorkshire, and County Durham. The BBC reported that a total of 150 schools would be closed due to the snow.
The Met Office said areas of Scotland could see up to 20 cm of snow.
For Iona Hill, of the Ribblesdale Cheese company, the weather made for a scenic drive through the Yorskhire Dales from Bainbridge to Hawes.
