Piers may be heavily swamped by waves. WHERE Mason, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan and Van Buren counties. WHEN From 6 AM EDT Tuesday through late Tuesday night. IMPACTS Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. ADDITIONAL DETAILS The greatest risk will be on south exposed beaches. This includes South Beach in South Haven, Grand Haven State Park, and Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon.
