-# HEADLINE -------------------- FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 AM EDT /445 AM CDT/ EARLY THIS MORNING # DETAILS -------------------- WHAT Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Elkhart, La Porte and St. Joseph and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Branch, Cass MI, Hillsdale and St. Joseph MI. WHEN Until 545 AM EDT /445 AM CDT/. IMPACTS Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS - At 1247 AM EDT /1147 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area.
