Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected and could be of long duration. Blowing dust could significantly reduce visibility at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind, and to ensure that they have sturdy shelter for this wind storm. If at all possible, consider delaying travel during the period of highest winds or finding an alternate route. &&

Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph at times. * WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front. * WHEN...Until 11 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to dangerous and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
