WHERE Lower Jefferson, Northern Orange, Southern Orange, and Upper Jefferson Counties. WHEN For the first Heat Advisory and Wind Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM CDT Friday. IMPACTS Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
