A band of heavy snow is crossing the northern to central Black Hills and the adjacent plains. This is combining with winds over 50 mph to reduce visibility to half mile or less. This is affecting areas along Interstate 90 from Sundance to Spearfish to Rapid City to New Underwood. Motorists should caution as visibility rapid changes, especially during the rush hour period.
