A band of snow showers will move south across eastern Aroostook county through 8 PM. This band will impact the Route 1 corridor between Caribou and Houlton. Visibilities within this snow band could briefly fall below a half mile with heavy snow. A quick accumulation of up to an inch of snow could occur with this band. Snow will quickly cover roads and lead to slippery conditions. Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing visibilities when this band moves through. Slow down and maintain a safe distance between other vehicles.
