-URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Eureka CA 954 AM PST Fri Dec 19 2025 Northern Humboldt Coast-Southwestern Humboldt-Northern Humboldt Interior-Southern Humboldt Interior- 954 AM PST Fri Dec 19 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following areas, Northern Humboldt Coast, Northern Humboldt Interior, Southern Humboldt Interior and Southwestern Humboldt. * WHEN...Until 1 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...There will be an increased risk of rock and land slides along roadways. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The frontal system has produced 2-4 inches of rain in the higher terrain and 1-2 inches in the lower elevations. Small streams are responding to this increase even as rain rates gradually diminish. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
