Patchy dense fog continues across portions of northern Ohio this morning. Visibility in the region is variable but locations with dense fog could have visibility as low as one-quarter of a mile. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. If driving, slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. In addition, some of this fog is occurring in areas with temperatures near or below freezing. This is allowing for slick spots to develop on area roadways, including bridges, overpasses, and untreated surfaces. Travelers during the morning commute should use caution while driving, especially on elevated or less traveled roadways.
