WHEN
Until 11 PM EDT this evening.
IMPACTS
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Numerous showers and storms will develop this afternoon into the early evening, and will be capable of producing heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated totals of 5 to 7 inches possible. This may lead to flash flooding for some locations, especially for those areas that have already seen recent heavy rainfall.
