Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 12 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 2 PM MST this afternoon. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday afternoon through late Friday night. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures rapidly dropping behind the arctic front Thursday afternoon will cause a flash freeze on roadways and bridges.
