Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are expected. Much of the area has 6 inches or more of snow on the ground. While there may be an initial crust on the top layer of the snow, it will erode quickly leading to significant blowing and drifting of snow. Near white-out and blizzard conditions may occur.
