Central and Southeast Park County- Larimer and Boulder Counties Between 6000 and 9000 Feet- Jefferson and West Douglas Counties Above 6000 Feet/Gilpin/Clear Creek/Northeast Park Counties Below 9000 Feet- 148 AM MST Mon Dec 22 2025 ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND SOUTH PARK...FIRE ZONES 214 THROUGH 216... The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 8 AM this morning to 5 PM MST this afternoon. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 214, 215 and 216. * TIMING...From 8 AM this morning to 5 PM MST this afternoon. * WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
